Metro Hope is a new church plant located in Harlem, NY. Church Planter Jose’ Humphries and his wife Mayra have a heart to see God’s peace unfold in NY through expressions of art, acts of mercy and social justice. Jose’ and Mayra are native New Yorkers that love the rich and diverse flavor of the city and are working to illuminate God’s presence among people from all walks of life. Jose’ and Renovate pastor Dave Diller initially connected at a church planter’s gathering in Chicago and have worked intentionally to foster their friendship. The bond of “brotherhood” that exists between these two pastors has extended to the church communities in which they are a part. As a community Renovate is thankful for the partnership of Metro Hope and continues to support the work and calling of Jose’ and Mayra in Harlem.
