worship

Worship is not only something we do, but it defines the people that we are…we are worshipers.  The book of Genesis tells us that we (humanity) were created in the image of God; Imago Dei.  By our created nature we are designed to reflect the glory of God in all that we do.  Every activity can be transformed into an act of worship, thereby not limiting it to what happens on a Sunday morning (1 Cor. 10:31; Rom. 6:13; Col. 3:23).   Martin Luther even said, “A dairymaid can milk cows to the glory of God”.

Our Sunday gatherings are not about a musical style but encountering God.  We fuse ancient/traditional elements of worship with where we find ourselves today.  This means the use of hymns, modern music, ancient prayers, new liturgies, spoken word, visual media, and reflective silence.  In many ways worship is about reflection and pause, resting in who God is and celebrating what he has done.
